Every song tells a story!

We will be creating a comic based on the lyrics of a song and the story that those lyrics portray!

Materials NEEDED

  • A song and listening device
  • Drawing / Coloring Utensils
  • Sticky notes or flash cards
  • ​Any sized plain paper

A story is made up of several elements:
1. Exposition
2. Rising Action
3. Climax
4. Falling Action
5. Resolution

Song

Like a story, a song is also made up of several elements:
1. Verse
2. Chorus
3. Bridge

Comics are limitless! Although comics typically have 3-5 panels, you can push these boundaries with your music-inspired narratives.
